Fairmont is a top quality property in a superb location between Copacabana and Ipanema beaches with stupendous views.

Fairmont (an Accor brand) specialises in historic or architecturally iconic buildings and this first class incarnation is no exception. Dominating the skyline at the far end of Copacabana beach, opposite the historic fort, the imposing hotel is also just steps away from Ipanema, giving it one of the best locations in Rio’s southern beach zone.

Some of the guest rooms and suites overlook the whole sweep of Copacabana beach right up to a view of the Sugar Loaf; some others allow you to survey the small and family-friendly Arpoador beach, gateway to Ipanema’s trendy sands, boutiques and top quality restaurants. The contemporary décor and furnishings reflect the deep blue of the Atlantic Ocean beyond. The property itself is a great place to hang out for a while too: there are two gorgeous swimming pools, a spa, sauna, fitness centre, several bars and a smart restaurant with magnificent views from its panoramic windows.
