Nannai is a superb beach resort offering both relaxation and activities on the pearl-white sands of Brazil's northeast Atlantic coast.

Close to Recife, one of Brazil’s most dynamic cities, yet in a peaceful setting worlds away from the urban vibrancy of that Atlantic port, the beautiful first class beach property Nannai is a tropical paradise.  A well planned Polynesian-style resort, it has meandering pools interspersing the superb guest rooms and villas; open-plan relaxation spaces and wooden boardwalks.

There’s plenty of room for everyone to find space and privacy within Nannai’s gorgeous palm-studded grounds. The resort’s centrepiece is its vast freeform pool and semi open-air restaurant where you can dine in the ocean breeze. Nights can be especially magical, with atmospheric lighting and a sociable atmosphere.

Nannai sits above Muro Alto beach facing the Atlantic Ocean, and there’s a sheltered arc of white sand in front of the hotel which is suitable for swimming.

What our clients say

  • Iguacu Falls were spectacular Rio views as per postcards!!

    JM, Callander
  • Highlights?: Getting wet at Iguazu on the boat trip. Cooking in Stella's home on Flavours of Bahia tour.

    JM, Glasgow
  • Highlights: Sambadrome and Iguacu

    RB, Reigate
  • Most memorable experience: "Hard to say it was all wonderful. Looking for alligators in a minute boat in the dark with eyes peering at you from out of the reeds, took a bit of beating. Also the boat whizzing around under the falls was  very special. The guides did a great job and it was great not being in a large group. I can't speak highly enough of the whole trip."

    VM, Shoreham-by-Sea
  • Rio - the ultimate party city. The Pantanal - fascinating wildlife. Iguacu - Wow ! And the Andes - Incredible. We ran out of superlatives to describe what we were seeing.

    PM, Stamford Brook
  • Most memorable was the approach toward the Falls on impossibly built metal walkways you could not have imagined the spectacle laid out before you.  Our guide who sat on the prow of the boat and the atonishment as he leaped into the water distracting a Cayman and bringing it on board tightly held  The view from the top looking down on Rio from the location of the Redemmer.
