Vila da Santa
A friendly, boutique-style property with a cheerful seaside aspect, devoted to creating a peaceful and restorative ambiance.
This is a gorgeous property which blends traditional Portuguese blue and white colonial architecture with French Provençal style and flair. Each of the guest suites displays its own unique décor and character, but all share many references to the sea and marine life along with antique objets d'art.
Luxuriate in the space, translucent light and cool flooring indoors, while the pool and garden offer you tranquil spots to relax in the open air. There’s a beach in front of the hotel and water sports such as stand-up-paddling can be arranged so you can enjoy the ocean.
It's all very romantic without being schmaltzy: you can dine al fresco on the terrace with sea views, and indulge in choices from a menu of spa services. The hotel is especially praised for the excellent level of service delivered by the welcoming staff.

Hannah Waterhouse - Travel Expert
Hannah had an early introduction to Latin America when her family moved to Ecuador and she returned to study in Buenos Aires for a year before backpacking across the continent.
This hotel is a great option for a stay in the seaside town of Buzios. The staff are cheerful and friendly, the location is fantastic with a beach in front of the hotel and it’s a short walk from the bustling town centre with its cafes and bars. It’s definitely worth trying the hotel restaurant for fresh fish, seafood and regional cuisine.
