The well-regarded hotel makes the most of its extensive grounds with a wealth of facilities.

This well-regarded Wish Foz do Iguaçu hotel makes the most of its extensive grounds with a wealth of facilities: several restaurants, two large swimming pools, generously-proportioned gym and even a 9-hole golf course.

Clusters of guest rooms are dotted around in low-rise colonial-style buildings, lending the resort an appealing country club feel. The entrance to the Iguazu National Park is 5km from the hotel. It’s ideal for families.

Kathryn backpacked across Argentina, Chile, Bolivia and Peru before joining us. She has a degree in Philosophy and French and is a keen netball player.

You can make a real home from home at the Wish Resort, with individual chalets housing some beautifully appointed and spacious rooms. Be sure to familiarise yourself with everything the hotel has to offer so as not to miss out – I’d highly recommend The Grill restaurant for some mouth-watering cuts of beef.
