The tropical hideaway of Vila dos Orixas is located on the beautiful beach of Praia do Encanto.

The tropical island of Tinharé lies 37km from Salvador and many visitors arrive on the daily catamaran which takes 2-3 hours to the lively beach-fringed island of Morro de São Paulo. Villa dos Orixas is on remote Praia do Encanto, the furthest beach from the village and known locally as the fifth beach.

This is a place for relaxation and there’s no need to move far: you have the island’s most beautiful sands in front of you. With rooms and bungalows sprinkled through palm studded grounds the vibe here is peaceful and laid-back but if you feel like some action the village centre can be reached along a bumpy track in about half an hour (or a much longer walk along the sand). There is an oceanfront restaurant, beach bar and a garden lap pool.
