Professionally-run business and leisure  hotel with many facilities just 1.5km from the central plaza of Santa Cruz.

One of the main attractions of Hotel Cortez is the location, it’s just a 20min walk to the central plaza of Santa Cruz along a wide boulevard lined with restaurants, bars, banks and ATMs. This modern property has 184 rooms distributed in two blocks either side of a pretty garden, terrace and good-sized swimming pool – it gets hot and humid in Santa Cruz, the water isn’t heated but you’ll enjoy the opportunity to cool off.

The old block, by the road, has two floors, while the three-year-old executive block (recommended) has nine, all modernised with small but bright guest-rooms and contemporary bathrooms. The rooms are plainly decorated but have digital safe, cable TV, black-out curtains, guest-controlled air-conditioning and sound proofing.

There is an excellent restaurant on site and a comprehensive buffet breakfast is served. There is also a small fitness room and spa with sauna, Wifi and computers with internet access available 24 hours.
