A welcoming lodge in a region that few tourists reach. Home cooking, warm service and detached thatched cabins make this an excellent family destination.

In a secluded area of southern Belize, Tanager Rainforest Lodge provides the opportunity for you to visit an area of the country that few get to enjoy. The home cooking and obliging service provided by the friendly owners enhance the personalised atmosphere. There are 8 detached, thatched cabins, scattered amongst picturesque gardens.

Excursions on offer include kayaking on the river that flows through the cultivated grounds of the lodge, which gives way to thicker, low-lying jungle upstream. On land, nature trails reveal a profusion of bird life. Bicycle hire is also available.
