Hidden Valley Inn and Reserve
Hidden Valley is a welcoming countryside lodge in the Mayan mountains of Belize's unspoilt interior.
This homely lodge is enveloped by a private nature reserve in Mountain Pine Ridge, a stunning region of waterfalls, rivers, lakes and caves surrounded by savannah and pine forest. The lodge’s twelve rooms are set in the property’s attractive tropical grounds.
It’s a cosy place: the main lodge has four fireplaces, bar, lounge and a restaurant which serves tasty meals and coffee home-grown on the property. Meals can also be served beside the pleasant pool area, and there is a Jacuzzi.
Excursions can be arranged from the lodge into the surrounding area so that you can discover attractions such as Butterfly and Hidden Valley Falls, Frio Caves and the Mayan ruins of Caracol and Xunantunich. The lodge also has some great walking and biking trails which can be enjoyed unguided, and, for keen bird watchers, avian observation in the area is most rewarding.
