Casa de Uco is a striking contemporary winery welcoming guests to explore the outstanding mountain landscapes and the property's high quality wines.

Close to the eastern flanks of the Andes of Argentina and Mendoza in the country's premier wine producing region, Casa de Uco is a bold landmark on the surroundings of vineyard-blanketed valleys and snow-flecked mountains. Unashamedly industrial-contemporary, it has an open plan and split-level interior with huge floor-to-ceiling windows, all designed to bring the outside in and ensure you are never isolated from your surroundings.

The dozen or so guest rooms and villas echo the modernity of the hotel's glass, wood and concrete frame with their ultra-modern décor. They offer views of the mountain-rimmed horizon or over the lagoon and vines. This is all-round top quality: all rooms are well provided with modern conveniences such as Wifi, underfloor heating and a well stocked minibar

At 1,250m this remote winery has been producing high-altitude wines since the start of the millennium, specialising in Malbecs, Pinot Noir and white blends - you get to savour them during your wine tasting (included), or accompanying your meals at the restaurant which offers regional dishes using locally-sourced ingredients.

Explore the property itself on foot, horseback or mountain bike - you are keenly encouraged to get out and about into the countryside. However, there are excellent leisure facilities on site too: a spa with steam room and sauna, terraces with an outdoor pool and hot tub, pool and chess room, tennis court and archery.
