This former ranch offers a glimpse of gaucho life in the Argentine Pampas.

Estancia La Bandada is a rural ranch owned by a local artist in the heart of Las Pampas, a quintessentially Argentine region of endless plains and wide open skies.

An hour’s drive from the international airport in Buenos Aires, Estancia La Bandada offers peace, relaxation and rural Argentine hospitality with a personal touch. Your hosts extend an informal welcome to the 150 year-old estate house, set on sedate lawns and 250 acres of beautiful parkland resonating with birdsong and filled with the scent of flowers in summertime.

The small selection of rooms are tastefully decorated with antiques and period furniture, ranging from doubles with separate living rooms to larger suites with fireplaces.

With a seasonal outdoor pool, this is an idyllic spot to unwind between upcountry adventures. If you are feeling more active you can go horse-riding, cycling, sign up for a cooking class or simply wander the grounds and feel close to nature.
