Janssonius
New, very comfortable Dutch-operated ship with an impressive range of cabins.
Dutch-owned Janssonius is one of the newest and most advanced ships sailing to Antarctica (2021). Her credentials are impressive, with a 1A-Super ice class rating, advanced stabilisers and fleet of tough rigid-hull inflatable Zodiacs. She has also been built with an eye for sustainability with LED lighting, steam heating and the latest power management systems aimed to keep fuel consumption and carbon levels to a minimum. The 80 cabins (170 guests) span a complete range from economical quad-shares to hotel-style Grand Suites. To complement the full programme of shore landings, you can sign up with the expert on-board team for optional camping, kayaking and snowshoeing.
