Costa del Sol Wyndham Arequipa

Costa del Sol Wyndham Arequipa

Top-of-the-range hotel with a delightful garden and peaceful location, giving a nod towards the city's colonial past while offering a full range of facilities including an outdoor pool.

One of the few top-of-the-range hotels in Arequipa, the Costa del Sol Wyndham Arequipa Hotel (formerly Libertador) has an architectural style which nods towards the city's colonial past while offering a full range of facilities including an outdoor pool and a spa. If a large garden and peaceful location are more important to you than proximity to the city centre, this is a great option: it's in the residential zone of Selva Alegre, with fine views of Misti volcano.

Built in 1940 in colonial style, the low-rise building is painted a rosy ochre, giving the exterior a warm and rather grand look. Once inside, you will find long corridors flanked by large, simply furnished rooms. There is a restaurant offering a good choice of international and Peruvian cuisine.

Our Expert's Opinion

Though not as luxurious as other hotels in its group, it's an impressive property, and the gardens are lovely. Few hotels in the city have anywhere to relax and enjoy the sun, and the hotel is well-received by our guests.
