Quietly elegant hotel within a restored historic mansion, with lovely ornamental gardens and an excellent location.

A striking green and white façade in neoclassical style fronts this restored building, now housing the charming Hotel Dario close to the historic centre and Lake Nicaragua.

The décor and furnishings are quietly elegant, featuring cool, polished tiles, ornate woodwork and chandeliers hanging from lofty ceilings. There is a shady terrace, a large, flower-filled ornamental garden sheltering a small pool, and a basic gym. The guest bedrooms, set around two courtyards are simply furnished and soothingly decorated in cream and gold. There is a popular restaurant and a homely, almost retro café serving snacks.
