Hotel Indigo Galápagos is an intimate waterfront retreat in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, blending contemporary elegance with the raw beauty of San Cristóbal.

Hotel Indigo Galápagos is an intimate waterfront retreat in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, blending contemporary elegance with the raw beauty of San Cristóbal.

The design draws on volcanic textures, ocean tones, and the archipelago’s distinctive biodiversity, creating a calm and stylish base for exploring the islands. Rooms and suites are modern, bright, and crafted with natural materials. Selected categories include furnished balconies and ocean views, allowing guests to take in the shifting blues of the Pacific, while other rooms offer a similarly serene interior aesthetic.

Life at the hotel moves at a gentle pace. Guests drift between the infinity pool and jacuzzi terrace, both positioned to capture soft afternoon light, or ease into the spa after a day out hiking, snorkelling, or visiting nearby reserves.

A well-equipped gym supports those wanting to maintain a routine, and the hotel’s commitment to being entirely single-use-plastic-free underscores its low-impact ethos.

Dining centres on Darwin’s Secret, the hotel’s signature restaurant, where global cuisine is infused with local flavours. Additional dining spaces and a sea-facing bar create relaxed corners to unwind with a drink as the sun sinks over the bay.

What our clients say

  • Most memorable experiences: Galapagos snorkeling at Devils Crown and the inland lagoon; walk on Fernandina; mountain bikes and trek at Cotopaxi.

    JG, Sevenoaks Aug 2015
  • Two parts: Seeing cotopaxi and the surrounding area for the first time, and stepping off the boat onto floreana and having to avoid sea lions and iguana, magical.

    HT, Conwy Nov 2014
  • We had a wonderful time… we thought the guides we had were among the best we have known anywhere; we went for the Galápagos and would admit to mainland Ecuador…

    PW, Lambeth Jul 2026
  • Highlight?: The trek up the Chimborazo with mountaineering legend will live with us forever!!

    TT, Bolton Sep 2017
  • Quito is a fabulous city with residents that seem to be pleased to see you, really helpful if you make just a little effort to address them in Spanish. Ecuador…

    DW, Lingfield Jun 2010
  • It was all brilliant, we expected the Galapagos to be the highlight, but all the other trips were as good in different ways. All the Ecuadorians encountered at hotels, restaurants,…
