Secrets is an adults-only all-inclusive resort, discreetly tucked away behind the sandy beach at Arenilla on Costa Rica's glittering northern Pacific coast.

With more than 200 rooms and suites, Secrets is not overwhelmingly large by standards of some resort hotels, but with a range of facilities there’s plenty to keep you entertained.

Two swimming pools face the ocean and there’s a well-equipped gym. Daytime activities such as beach volleyball, beach walks and water aerobics complement the evening’s entertainment which can include theme nights, live music, dance lessons and rum and wine-tasting sessions.

You can indulge as many times as you like at a choice of à la carte restaurants and a seaside grill – or dine in the privacy your room if you wish. There are also several bars, including at the poolside or tropical sundowners by the ocean.
