Rooms are decorated in soothing tones of green and blue, with warm wood furnishings for a cozy, natural feel. Couples looking to treat themselves can opt for a suite with a private plunge pool, while families will love the split-level layouts with mezzanines.
The hotel’s restaurant, Kire, serves local and international dishes, with much of the produce sourced from the on-site garden. On clear days, its terrace offers beautiful views stretching to the Gulf of Nicoya and the Pacific Ocean. After dinner, gather around the fire pit for a hot chocolate or a nightcap under the stars.
The adjoining Aguti Wildlife Reserve, home to ancient trees, diverse flora and fauna, and its namesake agouti – a rodent related to the guinea pig – features a 4-kilometre network of trails to explore independently or with a naturalist guide.
