Ananda Boutique Hotel
A small boutique hotel in Cartagena’s walled city with a lovely rooftop terrace.
Ananda is a small, chic hotel on Calle del Cuartel, right in the heart of Cartagena’s walled city and within easy walking distance of its beautiful ornate churches and leafy plazas.
Built around a large central courtyard, the restored 17th century colonial mansion is a peaceful oasis in the middle of this vibrant (and hot!) Caribbean city.
The 23 well-appointed rooms and suites all feature air-con and offer interior views overlooking the courtyard or pool. Junior suites are more spacious, with a separate living area and a balcony overlooking the street.
Facilities include a good restaurant serving a Caribbean-inspired menu, a small swimming pool – but perfect for a refreshing dip – and a lovely rooftop terrace with views over the Old Town and Caribbean Sea. Guests also have access to complimentary bikes.
