Unusual, welcoming boutique-style hotel with a striking art deco exterior, colourful contemporary rooms and an ideal location in the historic centre.

The unusual, welcoming boutique-style Casa Deco makes the most of its excellent location in the historical centre of the city, a charming, safe area in which you can easily stroll to the main plaza, the Gold Museum and Bogotá’s other key attractions. As you might guess from the name, it does indeed have a striking art deco exterior, while inside the décor is more contemporary.

There are 20 fairly minimalist rooms and suites, each featuring a work of modern art on the walls, and each individually decorated in one predominant colour.

You get marvellous views of over the city and Mount Monserrate from the spacious terrace. There’s also a bar and a lovely breakfast room with a cosy fireplace where guests are served an array of fresh fruits, pancakes and the famous Colombian coffee. A recurrent theme in reviews of the hotel is the friendly and helpful attitude of the staff.
