A budget friendly hotel with a striking art deco façade, colourful contemporary rooms and an ideal location in the historic centre.

The welcoming Casa Deco is a budget‑friendly hotel in La Candelaria, the historic centre of Bogotá, and within easy walking distance of the Plaza Bolívar, the Museo del Oro (Gold Museum), and many of the city’s other key attractions.

As its name suggests, the hotel features a striking art deco façade, while inside the décor leans more contemporary. The 20 rooms and suites are simply furnished, each one individually decorated in a single predominant colour and showcasing a piece of modern art on the walls.

There’s a small breakfast room on the ground floor, and from the rooftop terrace you can enjoy wonderful views over the city and up to Cerro Monserrate.

  • Conveniently located and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent although, on one day when the hotel was very busy, the service was rather slow.
