Pleasant, unfussy hotel with modern, comfortable rooms and helpful staff: a good value base in Punta Arenas.

The simple but likeable Hotel Alma Sur is located a few blocks from the main square in Punta Arenas and offers a cosy stay and a warm welcome. From the outside it’s a mix of mock Tudor and ski chalet; inside the décor is neutral and the rooms comfortable and modern. There is a bright and attractive lounge, a restaurant and a small gym.
