Hotel-style comfort and facilities in the most remote reaches of the Earth.

Following her refurbishment in 2018, the 9 deck luxury liner Silver Wind features gleaming contemporary and stylish guest suites decorated and furnished in classy silver and taupe. Amenities are top notch, with plush robe and slippers, fully stocked minibar, Bulgari soaps and shampoos, and even your own monogrammed stationery. As always with Silversea, you are assisted in the management of your first-class personalised experience by your very own butler and concierge service. Cruises are all inclusive, including alcoholic drinks and most gratuities.

Silver Wind is already renowned for her comprehensive facilities, including an outdoor pool and whirlpool, a selection of gourmet restaurants and bars, an outdoor pool and a beauty spa, fitness suite, jogging track, boutique, laundry and show lounge. She has now been reclassified as an expedition ship, with an ice-strengthened hull, following further upgrading. This will enable her to travel with ease in the challenging conditions of Polar waters.

But you won’t be losing the variety of facilities – the casino has gone, but replaced by a changing room, medical facilities and a photo studio, compatible with the requirements of travel in wilderness areas. With a top speed of 18 knots and stabilisers, and a crew/staff to guest ratio of 239 to 274, you can be assured of a carefree cruise, travelling at sea as smoothly as is currently possible.
