If you like the warmth this is the best time to visit Punta del Este as the days are clear and there is plenty of sunshine. Holiday-makers are drawn to the exclusive outdoor lifestyle and from December – February it can be very busy so make sure to book ahead.

March - October

By March the crowds have left but it is still a pleasant time to visit. From April to October some of the hotels and attractions close for the winter but must of the coastal infrastructure stays open and you will have access to lovely quiet stretches of beach.
