Situated in the countryside inland from the up-and-coming resort of José Ignacio along the coast from Uruguay's famous Punta del Este. The luxury hotel conceived in colonial estancia style, has several sunny courtyards, its own stables, pool and polo field. The 12 rooms vary dramatically in style, layout, artwork and furniture, and you can choose your suite in advance to suit your taste. There are no TVs in the rooms but the property itself, with its sculptures and paintings, relates an extraordinary narrative. There's a large pool, gym and games room, with wine tasting and other activities offered.
