Stylish riverside jungle lodge offering an adventurous jungle experience in relative luxury.

You can experience the jungle in relative luxury at the delightfully stylish jungle Hacienda Concepcion, a member of the trusted Inkaterra collection. Set on a verdant bank of the Rio Madre de Dios, the lodge can only be reached by water (via a 30-minute boat journey from Puerto Maldonado).

The wooden buildings follow a traditional Amazonian design, but inside, the décor of the cabañas is more contemporary while still in keeping with the surroundings: rustic ceramics, hand-carved furniture and textiles in natural hues are typical of the aesthetic. However despite the comforts there’s no attempt to hide the fact that you are in the middle of the jungle – don’t expect air conditioning, round-the-clock electricity or an internet connection. For those seeking an authentic, sensory experience of the Amazon, we think it’s an ideal balance.

The restaurant offers an a la carte menu of Peruvian and international specialities. There is a choice of daily excursions in the surrounding jungle, allowing you to take part in the activities that best suit your interests.
