Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel

Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel

The Sumaq Hotel is a slick and well respected family-owned hotel with first class facilities, fusing contemporary design with Inca motifs.

The slick, family-owned  Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel with first class facilities occupies a large modern building with masonry designed to resemble traditional Inca stone. It’s a well established and respected property offering a superior level of comfort in the lively tourist hub of Machu Picchu Pueblo.

Guestrooms are a stylish blend of contemporary design and regional motifs, painted in muted and earthy colours. Front rooms face the river while others look towards the railway; most have a balcony. The suites are extremely roomy with big beds with lots of comfy pillows, wood-burning fireplace, large plasma TV, ipod dock and DVD player.

The cuisine served in the terrace restaurant is the hotel’s pride and joy – excellent and beautifully presented. Guests can also pamper themselves in the spa, Jacuzzi or steam room.

What our clients say

  • They did look rather shocked to see these 2 shabby dishevelled people walking in from the Inka Trail but the hotel was lovely and accommodating and the service great

  • Beautiful modern hotel with a lovely room.  The restaurant was excellent with a good choice considering meals were included. The room was very comfortable.
