Cordillera Huayhuash Trek

per27-huayhuash-free-willroberts-CROP

Take on the tough but rewarding challenge of a 10-day trek in what is arguably Peru's best and most beautiful trekking region.

Encompassing a vast terrain of colossal 6,000m peaks, sheltered valleys and plains of knotted rock rising up from endless open grasslands, the Cordillera Huayhuash is in our opinion the most naturally beautiful area in all Peru. But access to the awe-inspiring panoramas up in its lofty Andean reaches comes at a price: the ascents are tough, the air is thin... in short, trekking here is no walk in the park.

If you're up for the challenge, the rewards are immeasurable as you conquer high mountain passes, skirt the snow-draped peaks of the Huayhuash mountain range and look down over vivid turquoise glacial lakes. We'll take care of all the equipment, porters, guides and meals so you're free to savour every moment of this spellbinding 10-day journey.
