Overview & Highlights

Embark on an extraordinary three-week journey through Peru, a land of diverse landscapes, rich history, and vibrant culture. This extended adventure allows for a more in-depth exploration of the country’s diverse riches, and incorporates some of the lesser visited, but equally intriguing and captivating locations.

You begin in Lima, the bustling capital where modernity meets colonial charm. Then travel south to Paracas and experience the stunning beauty of the Paracas National Reserve and take a thrilling flight over the enigmatic Nazca Lines, the ancient geoglyphs that have been shrouded in mystery ever since their “discovery” in 1927.

Continuing your journey south, head to Arequipa, known as the “White City” for its beautiful white volcanic stone buildings, before winding your way east towards the breathtaking Colca Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in the world, and home to large numbers of Andean condors. Next, visit Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, and explore its unique floating islands and traditional communities.

A fascinating train ride takes you north into the Inca heartlands, with visits to Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu, the empire’s iconic masterpiece. Finally, you’ll fly into the Amazon rainforest near Puerto Maldonado, to immerse yourself in the incredible biodiversity of this lush wilderness, spotting exotic wildlife, and learning about the unique ecosystem that supports it.
