These first-class cruise vessels offer excellent service and spacious elegance on scenic crossings between Chile and Argentina.

Rather than crossing by road between Chile and Argentina through one of the Andean passes, travel between these countries by sea via Cape Horn.

This first-class Patagonian expedition cruise will take you to places inaccessible by land: velveteen fjords, virgin forests, immense glaciers and colonies of marine wildlife. This is a fabulous way to explore remote Patagonia in comfort, well away from everyday distractions of phone signals and the internet.

M/V Stella Australis and sister ship M/V Ventus Australis offer high standards of comfort and service with a feeling of spaciousness and elegance throughout, ensuring an enjoyable and relaxing experience with open bar included on all cruises. Each has more than 100 roomy cabins, stylishly decorated with picture windows framing the ever-changing views.

There’s a choice of lounges, deck areas, a gym and dining room offering a sophisticated range of dishes. Lectures on a range of subjects offer illuminating background information on the geography, wildlife and history of the region, and there are regular on-shore excursions to explore the spectacular landscapes.

Five-day cruises depart Punta Arenas (Chile) and Ushuaia (Argentina) twice a week. Conditions permitting, all cruises aim to land on Cape Horn at the very tip of the Americas.
