Well-appointed, centrally located hotel with a large pool and decking area, a marble lobby and a once-futuristic, now rather retro appearance.

The external appearance of the well-appointed and central Hotel Guarani Esplendor is a mix of retro and futuristic, reflecting the forward-looking aesthetic of its heyday. Few would argue that it’s as fashionable now as it was then, but all the same it is certainly one of the capital’s better accommodation options, and the downtown location makes it a handy base for dining out and exploring the sights of the old city. The marble lobby, large pool and decking area add subtle touches of the splendour suggested by its name.

Guestrooms and suites are airy and pleasant, with all the essentials for a comfortable night’s stay. The décor is neutral, and bathrooms sizeable and modern. There is a restaurant, serving a buffet-style breakfast with a good variety of choices.
