Kayaking along the wild estuaries beyond León offers a chance to get back to nature in a secluded and beautiful area where tourists are amongst the rarest creatures to be found. Much more common are the many species of birds, fish, crustaceans and sea turtles that thrive within this rich ecosystem.

Mangroves crowd the river banks in a mass of spindly, grasping roots, providing shade as you gently paddle along in search of wildlife, stopping to stroll along deserted beaches or take a dip in the refreshing waters of the Pacific.
