Go snorkelling around the Corn Islands

Snorkelling

Explore a thriving underwater world of tropical fish, coral reefs and shipwrecks in the turquoise seas of the Corn Islands.

Basking beneath cloudless skies and surrounded by crystalline seas in various enticing shades of aquamarine, the Corn Islands are a classically Caribbean vision of tropical bliss.

If you can tear yourself away from your sun lounger, there’s an amazing aquatic world to be discovered beneath the waves. Coral reefs rippling with sea anemones sustain huge shoals of polychromatic fish, while nurse sharks and rays are frequently seen in deeper waters.

The Corn Islands were a favourite haunt of buccaneers and pirates throughout the 17th century, and you may even see signs of their legacy on the sea bed as you snorkel over the rusting remains of anchors and other historical detritus.
