Ride the Chepe Express

El Chepe

Take luxury rail service the Chepe Express through Mexico's Copper Canyon.

The glorious Copper Canyon railway runs along one of the world’s great routes, crossing viaducts over deep canyons and carving its way through mountains tunnels. You’ve long been able to travel the route on the Regional Railway but the Chepe Express offers a more comfortable and luxurious experience between Chihuahua and Los Mochis. We recommend the upgrade: the extra comfort and little touches are worth the cost.

Facilities On the Chepe Express

There are two classes of carriage: business class and first class. All carriages are spacious and with wide padded seats and a tasteful finish. While business class passengers enjoy reclining seats, panoramic windows, good bathrooms and access to the communal bar  for drinks and snacks, those travelling first class also have extra space, a terraced/observation car and a complimentary meal in the restaurant car.

Add a journey on the Chepe Express into your Mexico holiday itinerary, and you’ll enjoy an unrivalled tour through the distinctive landscape. You’ll marvel at the awe-inspiring scenery from a spot where you can simply kick back and admire the view. For more details on planning your trip, contact us and our team of travel experts will be happy to help.
