Charming, intimate converted colonial mansion on a quiet street in Guatemala's Antigua with just five characterful rooms.

Posada del Angel is a small former colonial mansion on a quiet street in the centre of historic Antigua. Former guests including Bill and Hillary Clinton have enjoyed its secluded, peaceful atmosphere.

The hotel has only five rooms, each uniquely decorated in an attractive traditional style and furnished with a wood-burning fireplace, welcome on chilly Antigua evenings.

The public areas, tasteful and painted in bold ochre colours, lead out to a terracotta patio and lap pool with overhanging tropical foliage.
