While most visitors will want to spend as little time at Cassard House as possible, that says much more about the wonderful wildlife watching opportunities available on the doorstep than it does about the lodge itself. Offering 4 clean, comfortable and spacious rooms (all with private facilities), a homely shared lounge and a large dining area and bar, the lodge is a really cozy environment in which to escape the often chastening winds outside – which, along with the roof mounted solar panels, provide all the power for the lodge.  Wi-Fi is available throughout.

What our clients say

  • Really enjoyed all of it, especially Havana and Trinidad. Loved the music, the atmosphere and the people. Very good walks.

  • The combo of Guatemala Highlands and Honduras/Livingston offered the experience of a variety of settings and cultures. I must say that Antigua and Atitlan were stunning!

  • Havana..colourful and crumbling...a prince inside paupers clothes, colonial architecture Trinidad..marvellous and whilst it is built on tourism, within 2 blocks of the historic centre you are in another world. Music,…

  • A charming, rustic hotel in the centre of the old town. Very comfy beds and a good breakfast.

  • We had a Salar view room which was excellent. Evening meal was very good. Bedroom was large although we did have a problem with the ensuite shower not working.
