Swissotel is a smart contemporary property close to Quito's colonial centre.

The smart Swissotel is in a residential area a short drive from Quito’s colonial centre. Its rooms are spread over 13 floors, most with views of the city and surrounding mountains including the nearby – but not too near – volcanoes of Rucu and Guagua Pichincha. At the centre of the hotel is a large outdoor swimming pool and sun deck. There is an excellent health club with sauna, Turkish baths and gym, to work off calories gained perhaps from the hotel’s five restaurants. The Le Gourmet and the Tanoshi Japanese restaurant provide a benchmark for good food in Quito, and its café serves afternoon tea.
