Picturesque Plaza San Juan is graced by the national theatre and paved with original cobbles. Camagüey is also a handy stopover en route to points further east in Cuba.

The weather in Camagüey is wide and varied
The attractive city of Camagüey is known for its vibrant cultural life. Wander its labyrinthine cobbled streets to discover a Spanish colonial core, the national theatre in a picturesque plaza, and a highly respected ballet company. The city is hot all year round, with temperatures in the high 20°Cs, with two distinct seasons. Dec - May is sunnier and less humid, while Jun - Nov tends to be rainier with somewhat stuffy humidity levels.
