Off the beaten track is the historical town of Baracoa, nestled among lush tropical countryside, sheltered white-sand coves and verdant plantations.

Overview

This alluring historical town is found off the beaten track on Cuba’s south-eastern tip.  Columbus was charmed by the area’s beauty when he arrived here in 1492 and it became the island’s first colonial settlement twenty years later.
