What our clients say
97% of our clients rated their experience with us as Excellent or Good.
The ubiquitous music and dance of Cuba and the infectious joie de vivre of its truly multicultural people who seem to live life to the full with the little they have. Cuba is a fascinating country and this comprehensive trip showed us not only its spectacular variety of scenery and its rich history but gave an insight into the resourcefulness of its people and how they cope in their struggle for survival and freedom. I'm sure we only scratched at the surface but I'm curious to learn more (and I must learn to speak more Spanish).

Several stand out moments; sierra maestra; tobacco farm walk; cocoa farm visit; catamaran trip; sancti spiritu walk round; evening meals outside for two weeks; eco farm visit in vinales; visiting the school in santa domingo was interesting as was the brief stop at el cobre between santiago and bayamo.

Excellent tour which is a great way to see a lot of different parts of cuba in a short time.
Cuba is a fascinating country and JLA have pulled together a fantastic trip with excellent local guides. It exceeded my expectations and I do hope to return one day.

Excellent as usual! I like the small groups, the local guides and drivers, the home stays, private home restaurants.

It was a fantastic trip. There is an obvious division in Cuba between those who come into contact with tourists and those who don't and so, like a magnet around iron filings our very presence distorts and changes what we see. This is perhaps more the case in Cuba than elsewhere but as more people visit I hope this will reduce. It is, for the moment, part of the character of the country and part of the experience. I really can't fault the organisation of the trip and would just like to say again that our guide was fantastic at bringing the history and culture of Cuba alive for everyone.

All of the Parakeet was fantastic.
LS, London Sep 2020
Education about the history and current situation of the country. Also enjoyed seeing many distinct parts of the country less visited by tourists such as Baracoa.
GW, Crieff Sep 2020
Cuba is a very diverse country and fulfilled our expectations. Parakeet is an adventure rather than a holiday so go with an open mind and immerse your self in the Cuban way. Colour, music and smiles more than make up for what some people may find frustrating if comparing Cuba to life in the UK.

The whole trip was memorable - it's impossible to pick just one part. The Cuban people I met were friendly and warm - it was good to practice my Spanish, and their love of music and dance, and care for each other is an example for us all.
LA, London Sep 2020
An excellent trip covering many of the key historical, geographical and political sites, and providing insight into a rapidly changing country. Go before it changes irrevocably.
