The kitchen is staffed by local people who have acquired their culinary skills through years of experience creating Costa Rican and fusion delicacies. Spend your days birding or following forest trails accompanied by naturalist guides, or opt for adrenaline activities such as zip-lining and canyoning.

The lodge’s suites were built without any logging, and use 100% renewable energy through water turbines, solar power and a bio-digester. Many of the staff are members of the indigenous Cabécar community.
