Savanna Orinoquia Lodge

The Savanna Orinoquia Lodge, located 115km southeast of the city of Yopal, on the banks of the Cravo Sur River and the Canacavare Channel, offers a bungalow style retreat in tranquil surrounds. With 7 rooms, featuring supreme comfort and privacy, all with their own outdoor pool, the property is an oasis of luxury in an environment bustling with nature, particularly bird life. Guests can choose to explore by foot, boat or horseback, or simply relax and enjoy the peace afforded by the lodge’s remote position.  The restaurant serves up local dishes consisting of ingredients sourced nearby, including fish caught from the adjacent waterways.

Getting to the lodge is an adventure in itself, with the roadway descending through majestic mountain scenery and the alternative boat transfer offering an early start to your wildlife spotting quest.
