Discover Lake Llanquihue

CHI_Lake Llanquihue from Puerto Octay_DN

Admire volcanoes, wild flower meadows and forests on a circuit of Chile’s second largest lake.

It takes the best part of a day to drive all the way around Llanquihue lake, the country’s second largest. You’ll be glad of its vastness, since you won’t want the panoply of idyllic lakeside views to end: the spectacular loop takes you past a medley of volcanoes sweeping down to rolling green pastures and villages clinging to forested slopes.

You can take a guided excursion around the lake or, if you have a self-drive hire car, explore independently at your own pace.
