Large, modern and comfortable hotel making the most of the magnificent views from its hillside location overlooking Osorno lake and volcano.

The comfortable Hotel Cabana del Lago is large, modern and well-equipped yet has a friendly and relaxed feel. Perched on the edge of Lake Llanquihue, where the skyline is dominated by the towering cone of Osorno volcano, the Cabaña del Lago makes the most of its breathtaking views: the scenically located restaurants, outdoor terrace, 2 heated pools, hot tub and sauna all share a privileged vantage point over the lake from the hillside. The huge 25m infinity pool has been designed to blend with the exquisite scenery beyond.

There are bright, amply sized rooms as well as individual cottages which come with a fully equipped kitchen. The décor is warm and neutral, with subdued tones and cosy blankets. In the main areas of the hotel wood predominates in typical Patagonian style.

Our Expert's Opinion

This is not a cutting-edge designer property but rather a busy, pleasant place with a reassuringly familiar feel. I found the service from the many staff to be excellent.
