Relaxed resort with elegant rooms and villas set around a palm-shaded infinity pool at the south end of San Pedro in Ambergris Caye.

The family-friendly Victoria House Resort and Spa blends colonial elegance with Caribbean charm in a stunning oceanfront setting. The hotel offers a range of rooms and more spacious suites, casitas and villas. Most rooms have king or queen bed with canopy netting, mahogany furnishings, veranda or balcony with garden or ocean views.

The hotel has an infinity pool overlooking the ocean, a spa offering treatments, a fitness centre and large enclosed courtyard frequently used for yoga.

The hotel can organise excursions including bird-watching tours, cave tubing and canopy zip-lining. The hotel also provides complimentary equipment for snorkelling and kayaking, and the coral reef is one of the best in the world for viewing tropical marine life. Back on land, borrow a bike or hire a golf cart to get around at the lazy pace that epitomises the Caribbean.

What our clients say

  • Another top class venue, in a great setting and with excellent activity options. The prices are a bit high. especially when the various taxes are added.

    CT Crowthorne Feb 2015
  • "Victoria House was everything one would expect from a high-class ‘beach’ hotel."

    SF, London Aug 2012
  • "Breakfast was not up to the standard expected of the best hotel on the Caye. Some staffs attitude left a lot to be desired, although others were excellent."

    CK,Plymouth Oct 2014
  • Fabulous hotel with friendly staff and lovely rooms and facilities. Dinner was expensive and a bit starchy which meant we tended to eat in San Pedro but otherwise very good.

    DT, Beaconsfield Apr 2019
  • Great place to stay

    JW, Bedford Dec 2015
  • Beautifully located hotel with fantastic view of the reef. Idyllic spot for end of a holiday - relaxing and peaceful. Avoid state room No 17 as tucked into a corner…
