Good value chalet-style hotel in a quiet area of town with a pretty garden and spacious rooms.

The chalet-style Sierra Nevada Hotel is a good affordable choice at a tranquil edge of El Calafate, with a pretty garden and views towards Lake Argentino. Rooms are simply furnished but spacious, and handcrafted local textiles lend a warm Andean feel. There are pleasant relaxation areas in which to unwind with a book, as well as a restaurant, bar and small gym.

What our clients say

  • Pleasant hotel with good views of Lake and in good peaceful position.

    VH Hindhead Feb 2015
  • Staff were incredibly helpful, room was a good size and clean, breakfast was OK. More basic than the other hotels but just as comfortable and again well located.

    EB, Maidstone Nov 2015
  • A pleasantly situated hotel, with spacious comfortable rooms. The service in the dining room left a lot to be desired but we did enjoy staying here.
