Horse riding in the Argentine sierras

arg15-horse-ride-in-the-sierras-free-dn

Spend a week journeying into the unspoilt landscapes around Córdoba on horseback.

Spending a whole week roaming the Sierras on horseback really gives you a chance to get immersed in this unspoilt, rustic land. It’s a welcoming terrain of grasslands and rolling plains, where wild flowers flourish and a simple way of life prevails.

Starting out at the wonderful Estancia Los Potreros, you’ll set out into the countryside in the company of a guide who can bring alive the local culture and traditional lifestyles you will witness on your voyage. You’ll ride for a few hours each day along little-trodden trails and ridges, past farmland, crystalline streams and dales. Evenings bring a chance to experience different aspects of the region’s hospitality, whether at a cosy homestay, a rural lodge or even camping out beneath the stars.
