Tucked away in bird-filled forest, this intimate Camp by the shores of the Paraná River is also within day-tripping distance of the Iguazu Falls.

Pristine Iguazu Luxury Camp has an idyllic setting amidst the subtropical Atlantic rainforest of Puerto Bemberg Nature Reserve on the banks of Argentina’s Paraná River. The forest here is rich in birdlife, making it ideal for guests seeking a sense of peace and nature whilst being well-positioned for a visit to the Iguazu Falls within an hour’s drive of the lodge.

There are just half a dozen suites with comfortable decks, offering beautiful riverside views in a remote jungle setting within an hour’s drive of the Iguazu Falls. Suites can accommodate up to four adults with a double bed and two sofa beds and have a spacious deck with heated outdoor tub, lounge area and outdoor shower. Premium suites are even more roomy with hot tubs in the bathrooms and private pools on the terrace.

Guests spending 2 nights or more at the lodge are offered full board, transfers to and from the airport and a programme of local experiences, including a half-day visit to the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls. Other experiences typically offered are cycling through the Puerto Bemberg Reserve, a hike to the viewpoint over the forest and river, and a camp fire night, with cookery class.

The Camp was constructed with conservation at its heart. It was built on a sand quarry, designed to blend into the surrounding reserve, using renewable energy, recycling and waste reduction. The camp also created a hotel school for local people through its Pristine Foundation.
