Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive Georgetown and transfer to Cara Lodge, an historic shuttered wooden building dating back to the 1840s.
Day 2 Full-day excursion by light aircraft to Kaieteur and Orinduik Falls, continuing to the airstrip at Baganara Resort, an exclusive private island lodge on the Essequibo River.
Day 3 Visit the gold mining settlement of Bartica; continue to Shanklands and overnight.
Day 4 At leisure to relax and explore the rainforest trails around Shanklands.
Day 5 Depart for Georgetown.
