Horse riding in the Andes
Daily from Quito
1,2,3 or 4 nights
There are rides of between one and four days to choose from, staying at haciendas or a working farm.
Riding south to the Cotopaxi and Antisana areas, probably the most visually dramatic of all the parks with views of the highest active volcano in the world, Cotopaxi, or riding north through green valleys and jagged peaks, passing colourful, indigenous villages, towards the Otavalo area.
Rides are flexible depending on riders’ abilities: expect to be in the saddle from two to seven hours per day. Riding lessons are also available.
Our comment
"These rides will appeal to novices and experienced riders alike."
