Itinerary
Day 1 Evening departure from the UK arriving Foz do Iguaçu the following morning.
Days 2&3 Explore the 2km precipice over which tumble and roar the 275 falls in Iguacú National Park, with an excursion to the Argentine side.
Days 4-7 Fly to Campo Grande and drive to Refugio Caiman in the Pantanal wetlands.
Days 8&9 Fly to Rio de Janeiro. Excursion to Christ the Redeemer’s statue, crowning Corcovado Mountain.
Days 10&11 Fly to Salvador. Your city tour will include a visit to the Pelourinho, the historic core of this exotic Afro-Portuguese city.
Days 12-14 Drive to the charming colonial settlement of Lençois, among the tablelands and canyons in the remote Chapada Diamantina National Park.
Day 15 Return to Salvador and depart by air on day 16 for the UK arriving day 17.
