Day 1 Fly UK – Santiago, arriving day 2.
Day 3 Optional visit to Valparaíso. Overnight coach to Pucón.**
Days 4-5 At leisure in the Lake District.
Day 6 Drive to Puerto Varas, optional trip to Petrohué Falls
Day 7 Day at leisure or visit Chiloé island.
Day 8 Fly to Punta Arenas, and drive to Puerto Natales.
Days 9-11 Hiking in the Torres del Paine National Park.
Day 12 Return to Puerto Natales.
Day 13 Bus to El Calafate.
Day 14 Day trip to Perito Moreno Glacier.
Day 15 Drive to El Chaltén.
Day 16 Hiking in the Fitzroy range.
Day 17 Fly to Ushuaia.
Days 18-19 At leisure in Ushuaia and walking in Tierra del Fuego National Park.
Days 20-22 Fly to Buenos Aires, city tour and time at leisure.
Day 23 Fly to UK, arriving day 24.
** In 2009 you will fly to the Lake District instead of taking an overnight coach.

Trip Profile
Transport: 3 flights (longest 5 hrs),
7 road journeys (longest 9 hrs).
Accommodation: Comfortable simple hotels with private bathroom. Camping in 2-3 man tents (in 2009 we will stay in a hostal rather than camp) - sleeping, mess and cooking tents, cooking equipment and sleeping mats provided. We recommend you bring your own 2 or 3 season sleeping bag, although there may be some for hire locally.
Meals: Breakfast daily (except in Torres del Paine), lunch in Tierra del Fuego National Park.
Included excursions: walking tour of Santiago; walks in Torres del Paine and Fitzroy; Perito Moreno Glacier; Lapataia National Park; Tierra del Fuego.
