Peru
Jungle extensions
Just a short 45 minute flight from Cusco you are in the Amazon basin. From the town of Puerto Maldonado there are number of comfortable jungle lodges where you can base yourself for 2, 3 or 4 nights to explore the rainforest and the wildlife within on foot and by boat. These include the rustic Sandoval lodge and Posada Amazonas or the superior Reserva Amazónica.
In the North of Peru lies the mighty Marañon river which feeds into the Amazon. A two hour flight from Lima takes you to the town of Iquitos where you board your motorised dug out canoe for a trip to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve where you can hope to see pink and grey dolphins as well as other rainforest delights.
Nasca Lines
500km south of Lima are the Nasca Lines, and the mystery to their existence still surrounds them. You can take a 1 or 2 night package to see the lines which include a panoramic flight over the desert to fully appreciate the shapes and geometrical lines that carve through the desert. This extension gives you an insight into pre-Inca civilisations, and another dimension to your tour in Peru.
Ecuador
Galápagos Islands
The Galápagos islands lie off the coast of Ecuador and make a perfect end or beginning to a trip in Ecuador or even Peru, only 1.5 hour flight away. These enchanting islands are renowned for the unique wildlife and marine life who inhabit the islands, many of which are endemic to the islands. We can arrange a 3, 4 or 7 night cruise on a number of boats whether your priorities are comfort, route or number of passengers. From here you can continue further south to the glaciers in Argentina or head straight to Buenos Aires to explore this vibrant cosmopolitan city.

Assist researching the lifestyle of these semi-aquatic creatures, work which may involve overnight camping, trekking through Atlantic forest and sand dunes, rafting, canoeing and nocturnal observations.
Peru - Rainforest biodiversity project
6 days, 5 nights. After spending a day and night journeying along the Piedras river in the Peruvian Amazon, you will sepend four days at this research station enjoying traditional jungle activities such as walking, swimming, fishing and visiting the macaw clay lick, but collecting and processing data along the way.
Panama - Rainforest conservation and education project
5 days, 4 nights. In deep jungle, although only a few hours away from Panama City, you will have a unique opportunity to participate in the work of this conservation charity.
